Responsibilities include providing pleasant, cooperative and timely scheduling service by contacting staff for replacement shifts; scheduling and matching staff resources with patient workload and operational requirements; accurately coding SAP time entry for staff consistent with the applicable collective agreements; organizing and maintaining related filing systems, creating and maintaining data bases and statistics, preparing reports and general clerical responsibilities such as photocopying, faxing, e-mailing and typing correspondence, memos and letters. The position also requires the employee to have technical skills regarding the setup of the Telehealth equipment and the ability to move it to other sites within the facility, flexing hours to meet the needs of Patients/Clients from the community taking part in education or assessment session with medical professionals located elsewhere in the province at various times of the day. Some evening hours are required. Excellent communication skills are important while dealing with the general public.The Staffing Clerk exhibits sound judgment and initiative while working within the Mission, Vision and Strategic Directions and incorporates into daily practice the Core Competencies and Values of the organization.Qualifications
