DescriptionPosition at DumasNEW and EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT MINERS / DECK BOLTERS for the LALOR MINE, SNOW LAKE, MANITOBATake on the challenges and rewards of a career that will take you far.NOW ACCEPTING RESUMES FROM ALL CANADIAN PROVINCES.DUMAS is looking for experienced, skilled underground Development Miners / Deck Bolters who meet the following performance expectations:Assist a development crew to safe and successful resultsInstall ground support according to the mining planSafely run jackleg and stoper with easeAssist to construct and maintain underground installations as face advancesRequired Skills and QualificationsOutstanding safety recordOntario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining modules or provincial equivalent would be an asset but NOT REQUIRED.Soft Rock experience not acceptedMinimum of 2 years experience boltingMust be able to ensure the cycle of a full roundDetailsSchedule: 14/14, 11.5 hours per day.Transportation – for those fully vaccinated against COVID-19, commercial flights may now be used to get to the Charter Flight locations in Ontario (North Bay, Sudbury and Thunder Bay). Charter flights use is mandatory from areas east of Manitoba border (minimal exceptions)Travel Allowance - For those travelling by road from other areas of Canada at distances significant from Snow Lake (non-local) will be compensated.Food and Accommodations; provided as required in townsite camp with newly rebuilt kitchen and room facilities.
