Job Description

The Technician will be responsible for assisting the Landscape Foreman in all of your team’s projects. You will report directly to the Foreman for all concerns, questions, issues, and customer requests. You will need to have a working knowledge of the standard operating procedures of all aspects of landscaping and water features and the ability to learn all concepts that deal with outdoor construction/hardscaping.What we do:

  • Landscape Overhauls
  • Hardscaping including brick, slate, retaining walls and concrete
  • Machine grading and excavating
  • Landscape Lighting
  • Softscape including gardens, grass, mulch, synthetic, pathways
  • Decorative concrete curbing

This job requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to the elements. This may include heavy to moderate noise and exposure to tools and machines used in outdoor construction/landscaping.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, ApprenticeshipSalary: $19.00-$23.00 per hourAdditional pay:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Sooke, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • Landscaping: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Class 5 Drivers License (required)
