GFL Environmental is looking for a full-time Industrial Services Supervisor to help support our liquids operations in Timmins, ON. The Supervisor will handle all aspects of day to day operations, by utilizing effective communication skills and time management to prioritize and optimize daily production. They will be required to lead and manage a crew of varying competencies and skills sets. Adhering to company policies and procedures, while maintaining all documentation as required.Key Responsibilities:Provide assistance to customers/outside haulers while on siteOperation of all vehicles and equipment in a safe and proper mannerConduct pre shift tailgatesAbide by rules and requirements while on customers or GFL propertyComplete all necessary paperwork ex: daily log book, manifest, BOL’s, rinse out sheetsManage and maintain various data management systemsProvide assistance in emergency spill response (E.R.) on and off siteEquipment checks daily/weekly/monthly, (Flex App)Maintain P.P.E inventoryMinor maintenance on equipment as requiredHelp provide coaching and training to othersEnsure coordination with other departments and other shifts to clarify roles and responsibilities.Manage employee complaints and concernsAttend meetings and training as requiredOversite of employees to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and work in a safe environment at all timesParticipate in the development SOPs, job procedures and investigationsEnsure all sign off sheets and memos are completed.Compliance with all regulatory requirements.Shift work, will be required to work day shift, afternoon shift, night shift.
