Job Description

Closing Date: January 24, 2022Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the Vendor Master Data Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and executing Vendor Data Administration and optimize business practices.To be successful, we require someone with strong written and oral communication skills, and proven interpersonal skills and follow-up abilities. The successful person would be self-motivated, enjoys working under minimal supervision and functions best in fast-paced, dynamic work environments. Most importantly, they will apply analytical skills and critical thinking to arrive at solutions effectively and efficiently.Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia.   • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Create new vendors and maintain vendor record accuracy
  • Promote use of direct deposit payments and maintain banking data
  • Recommend vendor deactivation derived from low activity vendor analysis
  • Identify and rectify vendor duplications
  • Collaborate with Internal and External Auditors
  • Optimize and consolidate vendors through purchase activity reviews
  • Validate changes and obtain approval for reporting changes to key data fields in the vendor master; maintain the vendor master
  • Create and maintain vendor performance reports, trends and provide feedback to buyers
  • Manage the Anti-Corruption process as it applies to vendors
Qualifications:
  • Diploma, degree, certificate, or designation in a supply chain management program, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent education and experience
  • Accounting or Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent digital literacy and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
  • Administration experience would be an asset
