Supporting Line Creek Operations (LCO) and Elkview Operations (EVO) in their efforts to optimize their processes through an ambitious program of sensor and control system renewal.To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Come experience what work life balance is all about!Responsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresWork with LCO and EVO teams and legacy automation documents to support the control system transitionDeveloping loop diagrams for existing and new instrumentsDevelop cable tray layout for new cablesSupport identifying cabinet layoutWork with installation contractor to ensure field work is completed per requirementEnsure design documentation is accurate and correct based on field installationsQualifications:A bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Engineering) in a discipline related to process control or relevant experienceExperience in design aspect of control systems and design document developmentsAbility to work in a work with old and new control systemsDemonstrated proficiency in AutoCADExperience using Rockwell, Wonderware HMI, Schneider PLC is an assetComputer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Yokogawa are an assetAt Teck, we value diversity.
