Job Description

DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Service Supervisor to join our Cummins Distribution Business Unit in British Columbia, CAThe Service Supervisor overall role expectations are to:

  • Manage technician delivery of repair events within required timeline
  • Coach and develop technicians for improved skills and efficiency
Guidelines and standards of care
  • Safety and quality
– Conduct safety and quality briefings during weekly huddles and reviews to ensure allprocesses are in place– Drive safety and quality initiatives and monitor compliance– Conduct a set number of GEMBA walks
  • Develop team
– Set goals and coach technician on productivity and efficiency– Arrange training and onboarding for technicians
  • Repair event management
– Review and approve complex quotes– Answer job site questions
  • Customer issue resolution
– Answer escalated customer questions– Resolve customer issuesMain outputs
  • Developing team
– Technician review and competency assessment– Resolved questions on the job
  • Reviewing and approving complex quotes
  • Managing team efficiency and productivity
– Operations KPIs and work backlog
  • Safety and quality reviews
  • Technician training plans
