Job Description

Closing Date: June 14, 2022Reporting to the Manager, HRIS Transformation & Implementation the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Human Resources Department including assisting in the administrative duties, practices and objectives that contribute towards a positive employee experience and a high-performance culture. This is a temporary 12-month position.To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; someone with strong customer service, problem solving, and organizational abilities. Lastly, this role requires the ability to operate with a high integrity and confidentiality while prioritizing competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia.   • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Collaborate with HR Representatives by entering employee data into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and monitor and administer the approval processes
  • Maintain new and existing employee records using various systems, ensuring data quality, and analyzing information in the HRIS
  • Support and provide training on various processes with the HRIS system
  • Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits staff on personnel changes that impact employee benefit coverages
  • Track workflow approvals and provide follow-up
  • Troubleshoot system issues with HRIS Project implementation teams
  • Generate reports on specific HR metrics
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Provide liaison, support, and services to external stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience
  • Digital literacy with Microsoft Office Suite®, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and knowledge of payroll processing is an asset
