Job Description

Closing Date: December 8, 2021Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Shop Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties for the Truck Shop. This role revolves around a family friendly schedule, on a 4x4-day rotation of 6-hour shifts.To be successful, we are looking for a proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; someone with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia!   • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Prepare required permits for tradespeople, such as Confined Space and Hot Work
  • Participate in Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee tours and safety audits
  • Track and report on Heavy-Duty Shop 5S and preventative maintenance compliance
  • Update equipment lists, bulletin boards, and weekly schedules
  • Prepare, distribute, enter data, and review time sheets
  • Maintain and track vacation and overtime
  • Assist with day-to-day and weekly clerical duties, such as data administration, filing, and produce Key Performance Indicators
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite®, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous administrative experience is an asset
