Closing Date: June 29, 2021Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Shop Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties for the Truck Shop. Come experience what work life balance is all about!Responsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresPrepare required permits for tradespeople (Confined Space, Hot Work)Participate in Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee tours and safety auditsTrack and report on Heavy-Duty Shop 5S and preventative maintenance complianceUpdate equipment lists, bulletin boards, and weekly schedulesPrepare, distribute, enter data, and review time sheetsMaintain and track vacation and overtimeAssist with day-to-day and weekly clerical duties such as data administration, filing, and produce Key Performance IndicatorsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite®: Word, Excel, PowerPointPrevious administrative experience is an assetAt Teck, we value diversity.
