Reporting to the Coordinator, Recruitment, the Recruitment Clerk is responsible for supporting our Central Recruiting team in all recruitment processes and assisting in the daily operations of the Central Recruiting office. This temporary contract is for an approximate 12-month term.To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, who is comfortable with public speaking. Someone who is organized, has exceptional attention to detail, and can work with integrity to professionally manage confidential material. Working a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off, come experience what work life balance is all about!Responsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresSupport the Central Recruitment team with full cycle recruitment activity, within a public facing, service oriented environmentSchedule in-person and virtual interviews and arrange candidate travel following all safety guidelinesTrack Key Performance Indicators analytics and reportingComplete pre-employment requirements, such as detailed reference checks, and drug screen coordination and collectionManage requisition workflow, vacancy posting process, and external advertisement placement via our Applicant Tracking System, corporate website, and external job boardsEnsure recruitment activities are carried out in compliance with Canadian lawQualifications:Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or other related fieldExperience working in a Recruitment or Human Resources environmentStrong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite®At Teck, we value diversity.
