Summary:Reporting to the Area Manager, Central, the Journeyperson Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing the Centrifuge Equipment, machinery, and mechanical components. Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, fit, dismantle, and move centrifuges, skids, motors, hydraulic systems, and pumps.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, loaders, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
• Inspect and examine Centrifuge and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools.
• Keep up to date with all Precision Rentals #39; core values, key beliefs, and safety culture.
• Participating in after-hours and weekend on-call and overtime as required.
• Various other duties as required.

Education:

• High school diploma.
• Must be a registered Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience working with or on drilling rig equipment is considered an asset.
• Must have a valid Vehicle Operation License (abstract required).
