ProjectThe Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.PositionThe Senior Electrical Engineer (Operations) is the technical authority overseeing the Electrical systems of the Woodfibre LNG plant. Prior to start-up of the plant, you will work closely with Project Electrical lead to ensure that all systems designed, built, and commissioned to ensure safe and reliable operations for the operating phase of the plant. During Operations, you are the subject matter expert for all issues relating Electrical equipment. The responsibilities encompass ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems, requiring a blend of technical proficiency, project management acumen, and a dedication to optimizing operational efficiency.
