Job Description

Term, February 5, 2024 to June 28, 2024 HOWE SOUND SECONDARY SCHOOLThe successful candidate must:possess relevant university training with a diploma in TechnologyEducation, or its equivalent related to the position;possess relevant, successful teaching experience Woodwork and Physical Education at the high school level; possess specialized Trades training including Red Seal Certification; knowledge and experience incollaborating to co-plan, co-teach and co-assess inclusive learning environments where all students are connected, supported, engaged and challengedbe familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards; and, have a solid understanding and knowledge of the new Ministry curriculumand competencies.Assignment involves teaching Robotics 10/11/12 and Woodwork 10/11/12Salary range : $59,432.34 to $108,341.34 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers’ Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience.If applying for more than one position, please note order of preference.
