We give back through charitable donations, fundraisers and sponsorships.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for various corporate law clerk duties at an advanced level including:

  • incorporations and organization of new corporations (federal and provincial)
  • amendments to Corporation Articles;
  • amalgamations, re-organizations and dissolutions;
  • asset purchase and sales;
  • share purchase and sales;
  • completing required searches and documentation for business name registration, amendments, renewals or cancellations;
  • receiving and reviewing audit inquiries from clients, reviewing minute books and filing;
  • reviewing minute books and preparing necessary documentation to update;
  • maintaining corporate records and listing of minute books/corporations.
Qualifications
  • successful completion of post-secondary Law Clerk or related program;
  • 5 to 7 years experience in business/corporate law in a legal environment;
  • proficient in Microsoft Office programs and legal software including CorpLink and PCLaw;
  • must be able to work with a degree of independence;
  • ability to multi-task and prioritize a high volume of work;
  • exceptional attitude and work ethic;
  • willingness to assist others voluntarily or as requested in a team environment;
  • resourceful, highly motivated and able to adapt and learn quickly;
  • willingness to support and enhance the Firms presence and goals
