Job Description

MRO Parts, a Thorold based Automation & Process Components distribution company, sells parts and components internationally through our network of sales platforms. Operations continue throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.The Warehouse Associate Specialist assists with order picking, inventory management, as well as cleaning parts, inspecting, and staging inventory for processing by our e-Commerce team.Job Responsibilities:

  • Position and store inventory items and support material in a safe manner within premises.
  • Order picking, utilizing forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Receive, Clean, and inspect all incoming inventory shipments.
  • Assist with inventory procedures for record keeping and inventory control.
  • Prepare and ship outbound orders with various carriers.
  • Maintain neatness and cleanliness of warehouse area.
  • Participate in periodic inventory audits.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in warehouse work.
  • Valid Forklift and reach truck License is a major asset for this position.
  • Organized, able to multi-task and coordinate priorities.
  • Must have excellent professional English skills, both written and interpersonal.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot independently and adapt to new technology.
  • Quick learner and self-starter.
Preferred:
  • Order fulfillment experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience with automation components is an added advantage.
  • Warehouse experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in operation of reach trucks and forklifts
