Job Description

We are seeking a warehouse operator interested in a long-term opportunity with a company in St Catharines that is a world-class manufacturer.In this role, you will be responsible for warehouse duties such as shipping/ receiving of products, inventory management, order picking, and fulfillment of customer orders. ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities will be but not l.imited to:
  • Order fulfillment for customer orders, incoming goods receipt process execution and related warehouse functions.
  • Responsible for the physical movement of inventory and goods within the warehouse. Receive into inventory from purchase orders and ensure items are accurately stocked and documented.
  • Inventory management and accuracy.
  • Operate counterbalance forklifts in the warehouse when required.
  • Prepare shipments incoming and outbound with third-party vendors.
  • Responsible for accurate execution of all order fulfillment steps from picking, packaging, and packing slip preparation to processing of shipping transactions.
  • Interact with internal customers to quickly resolve any issues.
  • Actively contribute to warehouse safety, quality and productivity by identifying inefficiencies and making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Perform all functions in compliance with all warehouse processes and safety rules (including dress code).
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in shipping and warehouse environments.
  • Previous experience utilizing order processing systems, shipping systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience operating forklifts and external certification is an asset.
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
