Job Description

True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada #39;s Best Managed Companies Program, has a full-time position for an Apprentice Industrial Mechanic at our St. George, NB facility.Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. Our company #39;s success is driven by our dynamic, highly-skilled and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area #39;s economy and sense of community.The Role:Key responsibilities include but are not limited to, installing, and maintaining the systems at the various process facilities under the management of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., in a safe and economical manner. Although this position is based out of our St. George facility, support to the maintenance departments of our 24/7 operations may be required.To be successful in this position you must be a highly motivated team player who possesses outstanding communications skills, has strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills and is comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-task environment. Completion of a Community College Industrial Mechanic Program is required.The Opportunity:The role description is just one part of the story.
