Job Description

Atlantic Builders Limited is a multi-discipline construction firm for owners who want a collaborative, hardworking, and professional building partner with whom they can build solid relationships based on integrity, trust, and respect, to create successful projects.We are in need of a Team Leader/Foreman to run jobs. As the Team Leader carpenter, your duties may include;

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches
  • Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems.
  • Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in residential as well as commercial properties
  • Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
  • House framing and siding
  • Home renovations as well as oversee new builds
  • Help in the preparing of cost estimates for jobs
Working conditions all depend on the job itself, being indoor renovations or outside roofing or framing jobs.Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day. But with all construction jobs, hours may very depending on deadlines and weather conditions. Some late days and weekends may be required from time to time.5 to 10 years experience required. Red Seal certification an asset. Pay will be based on experience and certifications.Atlantic Buildings does all forms of construction from renovations, new builds to commercial. We cover jobs from Saint John to Charlotte county so must have reliable transportation.At Atlantic Builders Limited, safety is our top priority. All carpenters are trained to work safely and take special precautions to protect against injury.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $25.00-$33.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Experience:
  • carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
