Job Description

All Equip Repair & Service in St.Marys, Ontario is hiring a Body Person/Prep Technician.Make a difference and have fun while getting the opportunity to repair or restore a variety of vehicles to better-than-new condition.Perform minor and major repairs, restoration, and prepping of equipment and vehicles for paint.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • 310B would be an asset
  • Disassemble & reassemble the vehicle to gain access to damaged areas
  • Disassembly & reassembly or replacement of electronic systems and wiring
  • Able to remove/replace damaged parts using power tools
  • Straightening of damaged items (frame & parts)
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
  • Restore cosmetic damages of vehicles to their original look by using filling and sanding techniques
  • Knowledge and skill in the appropriate use of adhesives and corrosion protection products
  • MIG /TIG welding
  • Spot welding
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of all maintenance and repair techniques
  • Mechanical or trade school certification preferred
  • Knowledge of all tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles
SCHEDULE/BENEFITS:
  • Monday to Friday 7-4
  • Bi-weekly Pay
  • Benefits available after the probation period
  • Vacation Pay on each cheque
