HD Painting is looking for an Epoxy Floor Installer to join our dynamic team of professionals in our Epoxy Floor and Specialty Coatings Division. In addition, this person will be trained to as a painter in our Commercial division. We are looking for someone that fits in with our great team of professional epoxy floor installers and is eager to learn. There are lots of opportunities to grow in this company into a professional Epoxy Floor Installer and Painter or Supervisor.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentRequirements:· Extreme attention to detail· Understanding of ratio mixing an asset· Physically fit· Great attitude· Fast learner and eager to learn· Get along well with others· Experience working on a construction site an asset· Must have full G Drivers License· Must have reliable vehicle to get to the shop or job sites· Agile with the ability to get on and off of the floor easilySkills:· Positive Attitude· Friendly· Hard working· Punctual· Effective communication skills· Ability to read clear directions and safety/material labels· Proven team working skills· Experience painting or applying epoxy flooring an asset but willing to train the right personThe person in this position will learn to:· Prepare floors and surfaces for coatings· Floor grinding· Read and follow product application steps· Apply epoxy floor coatings· Prepare walls and apply paint coatings· Consistent rolling· Be able to read Safety Data Sheets for specialty coatingsJob Sites & Locations: We operate in New Homes in the St. Thomas and surrounding area along with Commercial projects (New Construction and Maintenance Repaints) in St. Thomas, London and surrounding cities.Hours of Work: Generally, day shift Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. Overtime available.
