THOMAS2022 SUMMER HIRINGHousekeeping / Laundry Summer StudentsValleyview HomeApplications must be received no later than Friday February 25, 2022Valleyview Home hires one to two students to work on a part time basis to help augment the workforce during the summer months. The duties may include, but are not limited to, cleaning and dusting floors, walls, windows, woodwork, furnishings, light fixtures and washrooms (including fixtures), laundry. Verbally communicates and interacts with residents, supervisors, co-workers, family members, visitors and other departments. Eight hour day shifts – 7 days a week - Sunday through Saturday. Rotate all work areas including the laundry. Must be available to work weekdays and most weekends, including scheduled shifts and call-ins.Qualified applicants must have attended the previous school year full time and will be returning to the next school term full time. Proof MAY be required.IMPORTANT INFORMATION:All positions at Valleyview must supply a Vulnerable Position Criminal Record Search and a TB screening as a condition of employment and prior to commencing employment.COVID-19 Information:In accordance with the MLTC Ministers Directive re: LTCH COVID-19 Immunization Policy dated October 1, 2021, all staff, support workers, student placements, and volunteers must meet the applicable requirements set out in section 2 by November 15, 2021 OR from the first day the individual begins attending the home for the purposes of working, undertaking a student placement, or volunteering, if they begin attending the home to work, undertake a student placement or volunteer after the effective date of this directive (i.e. October 1, 2021). All staff, support workers, student placements, and volunteers must provide proof of the applicable full vaccination as outlined in Section 2.
