Part Time Teacher / TutorPart-Time Elementary Teacher / TutorOxford Learning St. Thomas has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our programs offer individualized support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and have a strong background in spoken and written English. Comfort teaching up to Grade 12 is preferred, but not necessary.General Qualifications:

  • A rockstar personality, tenacious drive, strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Tech-savvy (well train you, but knowing your way around a computer is a benefit!)
  • Ability to work in an environment that yields fast-paced results
  • The ability to multitask, be flexible, and think on your feet
  • Vibrant personality, and enjoys interaction with young people
  • Dynamic, energetic, and outgoing personality
  • Dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed
  • Upbeat and willing to motivate children
  • Must be flexible in availability
  • Bachelor of Education (obtained or currently working toward), or a related degree or diploma with relevant experience
Specific Qualifications:
  • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment
  • Strong English language written and oral communication skills
