TEMPORARY WORKERS The City of St. Thomas accepts applications year-round for temporary employment for up to six months which may include: • ROADS: Performs a wide variety of jobs related to road winter maintenance operations including operating sidewalk machines, patrols, snow shoveling, cleaning, etc. • PARKS: Performs a wide variety of jobs related to park maintenance operations including cutting grass, cleaning, horticulture duties, watering, etc. • ARENAS: Performs a wide variety of jobs related to arena maintenance operations including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.These are illustrative duties and not all inclusive. 2022 Hourly Rate - $17.00 Note: May be required to work weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, early mornings; shifts covering seven days per week. May be required to work in inclement weather. Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.These are temporary CUPE 35 union positions.
