Job Description

Ontario South Coast Wineries and Growers Association (OSCWGA), also known as the Toast the Coast Trail - is looking for a Marketing Assistant. OSCWGA is an incorporated “not-for-profit” corporation with a formal organizational structure with members who are growers, wineries, breweries, and a diverse collection of other dedicated professionals and interested trade persons. Each member is committed to the development of a new + distinct agricultural and winery region that will be associated with other large commercial and tourism initiatives____________________________Are you someone who enjoys creating content Are you passionate about the growing local wine + beer industry here in Southern Ontario Do you have a strong knowledge of how social media + marketing works Then this job might be for you!Qualifications- Excellent communication + interpersonal skills- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent- Working knowledge of social media platforms- Excellent time management and communication skills- Ability to work on your own as well as within a team environment- Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing tools/systems- Valid G license + reliable transportationJob dutiesThe employee will work alongside the Administrator on the following (but not limited to):- Content creation for the organization- Creating graphics for events, social media, and other projects- Prepare weekly social media reports- Develop + implement social media calendar- Copywriting for various posts + press releases- Conducting market research with the goal of strengthening our member base and organization as a whole- Updating website content + bottle shop- Visiting members from time to time for pick-ups, interviews and gathering photos for content- Assist the Administrator in various projects- Create monthly newsletter- Writing informative + unique blog postsThis position offers flexible full time work hours (between 20-35 hours per week), and is a mix of working from home + working in office (St. Williams ON) + visiting members.Reliable transportation is a must.Please apply by June 6th at 4pm.Please note: Only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.______________________Our summer job positions are funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program and therefore, participants must meet the following eligibility requirements: - Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-35 per weekSalary: $15.00 per hourBenefits:
