  • Translate strategies and plans into workable programs.
  • Work with stakeholders while applying OHS knowledge and ensuring measures are taken to protect the health and safety of workers.
  • Lead day-to-day delivery of OHS services while supervising OHS staff.
  • Develop and implement framework of policiesamp; procedures to mitigate risk.
  • Keep current with changes to legislation, regulatory compliance matters, industry trends, etc.
  • Leads program-related initiatives.
  • Oversees design, development, and delivery of OHS training for employees.
  • Implements Incident Reporting, Investigation and Response Programming, and Serious Incident Reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:What you #39;ll need to be considered:
  • Degree in OHS or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.-
  • Project Management / Change Management training an asset.
  • Canadian safety professional certification preferred (CRSP, CHSC, CRST, CSC, ROH/ROHT, CIH, CCPE, COHN, CET, CIH, CSHM, CPHR).
  • Driver’s license with clean driving record and access to vehicle.
  • 5-7 Years’ management / leadership experience.
