  • Responsible to coordinate the workflow of the inbound dock crew 12-15 people, by ensuring the safe and efficient unloading and staging of all inbound and transfer freight.
  • Ensure timely loading and departures for all freight.
  • Train and develop new dock staff.
  • Complete daily job tasks in line with corporate policies and procedures
  • The position is also responsible for the daily pre load- load plan of City and rural route runs to support on time delivery service for the Winnipeg and surrounding delivery areas.
  • All shipments scheduled for delivery must be planned and loaded with a focus on route efficiency while meeting our timed requirements.
  • Detailed daily hand-offs to dayshift dispatch and PM Supervisor.
  • Effective communication with other supervisors and other departments to ensure customer daily demands are being met.
  • This is a salaried position which reports directly to the Operations Manager
