Job Description

Canada’s fastest growing pre-owned vehicle retailer is looking for a high-quality and driven Branch Manager for it’s Stratford, PEI location.ReCar is an Atlantic Canadian company that is headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick and is built on the fundamental principles of integrity and treating people with respect. We are also a disruptor within the Auto Industry by offering our Guests Fixed, No-Pressure Pricing on all our Certified Vehicles, as well as an environment where our Vehicle Advisors are Salaried Positions as opposed to straight commission like most automotive salespeople. Today’s auto buyer doesn’t want to have to come in and haggle and negotiate in order to get their “best deal”, nor do they want to be serviced by someone who is incentivized for selling them the car with the most mark-up as opposed to the best fit for them and their family. ReCar is built on this principle.Founded in 2018, ReCar currently has four New Brunswick locations in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, and Woodstock as well as locations in Stratford (Charlottetown), PEI and St. John’s, Newfoundland. We will also be adding several other locations in 2022 including a brand-new flagship facility in Halifax, NS.As the ReCar Branch Manager, your responsibilities would include:

  • Overall Management of the Branch including all customer and team member interactions.
  • Ensuring that the Branch is achieving its volume and profitability targets.
  • Management of the Sales Team and Sales Process including:
o Constantly searching out future sales leaders and then training and coaching them, as well as our current team, to success.o Ensuring all Team Members follow our sales documented and successful sales process.o Providing exceptional service throughout our Guest’s experience including world-class vehicle deliveries.
  • Technology – We are a data-driven company and you will need to manage our various technology tools for the branch including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and various others
  • Lot Display, Presentation and Merchandising – we have high standards for how our locations need to look and feel.
  • Finance Office Management – ensuring that we stick to a process that it designed to allow our guests to be offered all of the possible credit and asset protection products and services we have in a 5-star service environment.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships and demonstrating excellent teamwork.
Basically, we have taken all the non-sales related functions of a traditional automotive sales manager … all the admin work, all the dealing with service and parts, all of the internal politics of a new car dealership, all the waste-of-time meetings, all the inventory management … and we have eliminated these completely or we deal with this stuff at head office. Your role is to lead your team of pros well and sell, sell, sell. We send you the right vehicles at the right price for your market and then you just sell them. That’s it. Just all the fun stuff!An exceptional compensation package is offered for this position that consists of a base salary and an aggressive commission structure. We look for top performers and then we pay them like top performers. This position is in Stratford, PEI and is available immediately.
