You #39;ll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we #39;ll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients #39; health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven #39;t yet met.This position is a full-time, one year contract role working 30 - 40 hours per week, Mondays to Saturdays.ResponsibilitiesCommunicating with patients in person, by phone, and by emailBilling the patient, their medical service provider and other third partiesAdministering pre-testing servicesManaging appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and paymentsEducating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and qualityInforming patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client #39;s aesthetic and performance needsPerforming frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewearPerforming repairs and adjustments to patients’ eyewearArranging and maintaining retail display areaContributing to store retail sales goalsUpholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skillsThe Successful CandidateIdeally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care would be beneficial but not essentialProfessional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with peopleAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentA high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office SuiteCommitted to excelling as a member of a high performing teamAbout FYi:FYidoctors is Canada’s leading diversified healthcare organization.
