(36-48 hours per week).In this role, you will report to the Operations Leader. This is a contract position from now until Labour Day.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :maintain consistent process flow of all packaging lines to produce safe, a quality product within customer specifications adhering to all safety policies and regulations while maintaining efficiency and continuityprovide accurate and legible daily production recordspreliminary quality check on the productverify the integrity of packaging materials, coding clarity, and legibilityeffective and knowledgeable operation of raw product supplyeffective and knowledgeable operations of case erecting and case packingeffective tote components and pallet handlingorganize and perform effective and efficient changeoversperform accurate robot and labeling setuptroubleshoot packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance when requiredmaintain the cleanliness of your work area and perform tasks within safety standardsensure all packaging equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to HACCP and Food Safety specificationsparticipate in and make recommendations with regard to Continuous Improvement initiatives;operate a narrow aisle reach truck ( training to be provided- experience is not necessary)communicate effectively with leaderscontribute to and promote a positive work environment through effective team relationsQUALIFICATIONS :minimum grade 12 or equivalent diplomaprevious food handling experienceable to work rotating 12 hr. continental shift work including weekendsable to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights in a cold environmenthave a quality conscious mindset and good attention to detailable to work independentlystrong written, verbal communication, and computer skillscritical thinking skillsmechanical aptitudeunderstanding of HACCP, GMP’s and food plant sanitationable to work as part of a team and promote a positive work environmentAlthough all job applications are taken into consideration, only the selected candidates will be contacted.Bonduelle is an equal opportunity employer.
