Job Description

Crystal Clear Bags Canada is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy warehouse team!Responsibilities: Reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor, the duties of Shipping Clerk include, but are not limited to

  • Pull and pack orders, managing shipments and inventory
  • Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Consistent and seamless processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring exact quantities are picked, packed and shipped cost effectively
  • Hands-on work: You can expect to handle packages ranging from small envelopes to large boxes weighing 50 pounds / 22.68 kg
  • Constructing of custom packaging
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and environment
  • Participate in job-related training exercises when appropriate or necessary
  • Working calmly and effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Mathematical reasoning, basic accounting skills and problem solving
  • Restock inventory and general warehouse maintenance including physical inventory counts
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 2 years of relevant shipping / warehouse experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Good physical health with the ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift stock / cartons weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate material handling equipment including hand pump truck and weigh scales
  • Able to follow all health and safety regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Work well autonomously, and as part of a team
  • Motivated, and energetic about your work
  • Computer literate with basic computer skills
  • Good with measurements, accurate in attention to detail
  • Dependable with good sense of priority and responsibility
  • Quick learner who is able to escalate to management and suggest solutions to problems
  • Valid drivers license with good, clean driving record
  • Must be comfortable climbing up ladders
