Coordinator (Visitor Experience) Our client is recruiting for the position of Coordinator, Visitor Experience in their Toronto office. As part of the Marketing team, the selected candidate will ensure exceptional experiences for all while coordinating the preparation and execution of regional and national marketing events and sponsorship activities in their cutting-edge and inspiring event space. Your role will be vital in creating and fostering a thriving community where people can achieve their goals while enjoying their time at the office.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $28 to $30, based on experience. • 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position on weekdays.• On-site work in a dynamic environment.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities:• Coordinate and execute diverse event programming, including sponsorship activations, conferences, and social gatherings.• Oversee the coordination and delivery of a seamless event experience service offering, collaborating closely with colleagues from other lines of business.• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering world-class experiences while managing day-to-day office operations and liaising with various external and internal stakeholders.• Ensure the creation, deployment, and coordination of national and regional events and sponsorship activations.• Manage and participate in various portfolio marketing projects.• Maintain and improve documentation and procedures to meet and sustain our established standards of service excellence and compliance with corporate directives.• Work cross-functionally to identify gaps in the day-to-day experience and define workspace priorities to manage internal requests for visitor and event space usage.• Identify opportunities to develop, implement, and scale tools and resources to support daily operations activities.• Manage event requests and ensure they are assigned and followed up on according to team standards and deadlines.• Create captivating marketing collateral and establish solid partnerships with suppliers and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.• Support the Marketing team with administrative tasks such as data entry, project coordination, and various regional activities.• Perform all other related tasks to ensure the delivery of marketing communications activities and the smooth running of daily event space operations.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, public relations, or a related field.• 4 to 5 years of experience in event marketing management, sponsorships, or partnership activations.• Experience working in a Microsoft Office 365 environment is an asset (especially Teams webinars).• Experience in the financial sector or in business-to-business event marketing is an asset.• Strong business acumen and excellent ability to interact with partners of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and colleagues.• Comfortable with technology and a strong interest in learning new tools to improve collaboration and teamwork efficiency.• Strong ability to multi-task and to organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines while managing other priorities.• Strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and to build harmonious and synergistic relationships.• Excellent ability to make timely decisions to move projects forward, in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong customer-service focus.
