Fabricators are knowledgeable in various trades and are versatile in their skillset. Fabricators are passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.Health and Safety is every employee’s responsibility. All employees are required to follow Custom Cubes’ safety standards and carry out all tasks with a safety-focused attitude and behaviors.Please be noted this role is based in St. Albert. Local candidates only.Responsibilities:

• Prepping materials in preparation for each job.
• Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans.
• Troubleshooting construction-related issues and involving the Production Supervisor to resolve issues, where necessary.
• Keeping common work areas and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
• Fully cleaning up all construction and work areas at the end of each shift.
• Working collaboratively with other Fabricators to complete construction.
• Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
• 2-3 years of general trades experience on job sites.
• General knowledge gained from experience, of the majority of the following skills: metal fabrication, steel cutting, carpentry, painting, framing, door and window installation, wall paneling, and finishing.
• Specialized trades experience in addition to 2-3 years of general trades experience is considered an asset.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Ability to keep the job site tidy and organized.
• Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
