• Greeting, assisting customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Ensuring meat standards of meat preparation (cutting and trim standards, traying, wrapping and pricing) are being met on a consistent basis.
• Oversees the meat and produce sales and stock area in an efficient manner, ensures price integrity to facilitate the accurate processing of sales.
• Responsible for ordering, receiving, processing and merchandising of product for the counter to ensure an adequate selection of product is available.
• Assists the Branch Store Manager in the implementation of plans and procedures, for the meat and produce operations; administer plans and procedures to enhance operations.

• Grade 12 required or GED.
• Must have or obtaining to be a journeyman meat cutter or have equivalent meat training and experience or be a part of an apprenticeship program.
• Must be knowledgeable in food preparation and handling.
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
