Idylwylde Golfamp; Country Club is currently seeking Starters and Marshals for the 2025 season. Reporting to the Golf Professional, successful candidates will help to manage the flow of play, record starting data for each group that tees off, and ensure golfers are provided with necessary information prior to teeing off. Please note, this position is a work for golf arrangement. The commitment is two 6-hour shifts a week in exchange for golfing privileges at the Idylwylde, no financial compensation will be provided. Built in 1922, the only way to access the club was via water taxi in the beginning; The Club now sits in the heart of Sudbury but once on our rolling fairways, you would never know it. Set on the shores of Lake Nepahwin, Idylwylde Golfamp; Country Club is a first-class experience for all levels of golfer and offers an excellent test for low and high handicappers alike.The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the golf course:

• Providing first class service to members and guests.
• Assisting golfers in teeing off in a timely manner and prepared to play
• Managing pace of play by communicating with golfers and recording data
• Managing the first tee, keeping area prepared for golfers and ensuring groups maintain proper spacing

Qualifications:

• Golf Experience is an asset.
• Excellent service and organizational skills.
• Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• G2 Driver’s License.
