Job Description

TUBE-FAB A 70-year-old, aerospace assembly & component manufacturer, is currently seeking an experienced Painter/Primer/Masker to join our team in our Summerside, PEI facility. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated and committed to making Tube Fab Ltd. an industry leader.Please submit your resume via email or Drop off at 105 Industrial Crescent, Summerside, PE C1N 5P8. Only Resume for those individuals who are currently in the Province will be considered.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Mixing of various Paint/Primer products.
  • Prep/Mask product for paint and/or Alodine processes.
  • Buffing and or Reworking of surfaces to be Painted/Primed
  • Paint Product in accordance with work instructions and BAPs
  • Transfer Product to and from the oven/drying room.
  • Assist in the preparation and layout of product for paint procedure.
  • Demask and clean Painted product in preparation for packaging.
  • Clean ands Prep the Paint booth for the Paint process.
  • Ensure any special instructions on the work order are followed.
  • Maintain work area, keep it clean and orderly. PERFORM House Keeping Tasks.
  • Ensure facility and equipment is in safe working condition; report any issues to your Supervisor.
  • Wear all appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when working.
  • Perform other duties or functions as requested by your Supervisor.
Essential Skills: Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication, working with others, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, continuous learning, and the ability to read a tape measure. Knowledge of Paint spraying tools.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Must be able to keep all schedule shift commitments, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail.Training will be provided however our ideal candidate would have the following experience:
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are an asset.
  • Working in a quick turn around production environment.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry would be asset.
Educational and or credential requirements:
  • High School Diploma
