Job Description

Renovations Specialist: The Employee is responsible for large capital projects relating to Red Sands Properties Inc.’s clients home renovations projects. The projects include new kitchens and bathrooms, framing walls, drywalling, seam filling, flooring, painting, trim work, and minor plumbing and electrical work. The Employee reports to our Renovations Maintenance SupervisorJob Title: Renovations SpecialistHours: Monday-to-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, some weekends and evenings, as requiredStart Date: May 16, 2022Pay: $20 to $24 per hour based on experience, plus overtime opportunitiesJob type: Full-time, mostly indoorsLocation: Summerside, resident in this area of PEI preferredJob duties:

  • Will work with another person as part of a two-person team and will share a work vehicle
  • Must work well with others
  • Five years carpentry experience required
  • General renovating skills such as framing, flooring, painting, drywalling, seam filling, etc.
  • Experience with plumbing and electrical is an asset
Experience needed:
  • 5+ years of relevant renovation experience is required
Requirements:
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • A reliable truck or van is an asset (will be paid $0.40/km mileage)
  • Must provide a clean and current criminal record background check
