Role Proposition:As the altitude rises, your heartbeat increases, the crisp winter air catches your breath, and your eyes shine with the reflections of the glistening snowy mountains surrounding you and the passion guests and employees experience together. Servers, bartenders, cashiers, and bussers contribute to the resort, often being the first contact person, the in-between and the last touchpoint. Your shifts will be split between two locations which are explained below.The Annex Food + Drink is a welcoming place where people can start their day by gearing up and obtaining a coffee to ride up the brisk chair lift, excitement fills knowing you will be leaving behind the sounds of your edges as it presses against the snow. The Annex team offers various services from a cafeteria-like restaurant with vast influxes of guests at peak meal periods, including a bar that offers liquor and espresso service. As employees’ positions are versatile and constantly changing, perhaps the busser gains the most steps in a day, whose primary purpose is to ensure sanitization, cleanliness, and open seats for welcoming new guests.Sunburst Bar + Eatery is the only midmountain restaurant where you can find the noise of pint glasses clinging together and the views overlooking mountain ranges while the foam from the latte purchased at the coffee bar slightly remains on your upper lips. It is the spot to be first thing in the morning to obtain a house-made cinnamon bun that people line up for. You can smell them cooking while riding up the chair lift on your way to work. The coffee bar is also a liquor service bar with many sales, and Bartenders inevitably have line ups to the other side of the room. Candidates must work quickly on their feet and can multi-task their priorities, whether running downstairs to gain more stock or lighting the outdoor fire pits.If a lifestyle in the mountains is an experience that you wish to have while being employed for the resort that gives you access to not only a ski pass but the possibility for ride breaks, yes -take a break and go for a ride during slower service times, then this may be a fit for you! • Stocking of front end showcases and coolers
• Flexibility in hours and shifts
• Assisting in preparation of orders with the Manager
• Opening and closing duties of the restaurant
• RTP (Point of Sales) - ensuring they are correctly closed when on closing shifts
• Always ensuring excellent customer service
• Ensuring the restaurant is ready to hand over to the next shift. (Cleanliness, etc.)
• Communicate with kitchen personnel and supervisors
• Make sure customers are well taken care of by predicting their needs and doing everything to make their stay in our establishment fantastic
• Act with integrity and lead by example always
• Taking customer orders and making their coffee or espresso to order
• Ringing up customers at the cash register
• Clear and clean tables and dishes at every opportunity and maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Greet and welcome guests
• Willingness and continuous learning throughout employment
• Following all safety procedures and policies
• Ensuring participation in collaboration

Ideal Candidate:

• Accurate cash handling experience.
• Excellent knowledge of cafeteria service
• Experience in a high-volume atmosphere
• Some specialty coffee creation is an asset
• Food safe certificate is an asset but not required
• Serving it Right certification is an asset
