Job Description

Role Proposition:Do you love to tinker with things Always taking stuff apart, fixing it and putting it back together Do you work on your bike before and after riding If this sounds like you, we are looking to hire maintenance technicians for our gorgeous slope-side hotel property where you will deliver on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements for all property components while enjoying flexible shifts and the perks of living in a resort.   • Conduct daily rounds and checks of all building systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on schedule for all common areas, guest rooms, and back of house areas
  • Complete work orders for ongoing building maintenance utilizing the Hotel Expert program
  • Oversee hotel maintenance supply inventory
  • Participate in all fire and emergency response activities
  • Escort to the job site, all contractors working in the hotel
Ideal Candidate:
  • Well-rounded knowledge of a full-service hotel or resort setting and knowledge of pool and hot tub maintenance is an asset
  • Team player mentality with a can-do attitude, while confident in working independently
  • Capable of identifying operational needs
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think proactively
  • Current Power Engineering ticket preferred but not required
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, twisting, working at heights, and has overall physical wellness
  • WHMIS
  • Recent Emergency Response Training is an asset
  • Current First Aid (OFA-LV1) Training is an asset
