DescriptionIdeal Candidate- Board Certified Emergency Medicine MD/DO in with 3-5 years of experience- Interested in working in a part-time capacity (0.7 FTE; approximately 60 24-hour shifts per year) in a beautiful island setting as part of a patient-focused, cohesive, productive, and friendly teamThe PIMC Emergency Department- 5-bed Emergency Room- 24/7 CT available- On-site lab- The ED is quite impressive with all the bells and whistles that you would find in a much larger ED - bedside US, glide scope, point of care labs Lab services onsite- Robust imaging onsite- Visiting Specialists- Emergency transfer available when needed- Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine students do rotations at PIMC- Epic EMRFriday Harbor, WA, thequot;Gateway to the San Juan Islands, quot; is a charming, historic and walkable seaport that boasts friendly shops and restaurants, visual art, theater and musical events, and of course, opportunities for outdoor adventures.
