Job Description

destinationone Consulting is exclusively working with Nanak Foods on a retained search for an Import/Export Coordinator.

  • Communicating clearly with agents and clients for smooth information exchange
  • Entering and sending pre-alerts to keep customers and agents informed about air shipment departures
  • Preparing, managing, and sending status reports to clients
  • Keeping track of shipments with airlines, agents, and truckers for real-time updates
  • Checking relevant documents for accuracy e.g. bills of lading, prelims etc.
  • Updating clients and agents on the status of their shipments regularly
  • Arranging pick-ups from shippers in an organized and timely manner
  • Issuing invoices accurately and on time
  • Handling intents to claim when needed, following the right procedures
  • Keeping track of pending charges and manage financial transactions carefully
  • Approving payables following established financial processes
  • Dispatching and follow up on Proof of Deliveries (POD’s)
  • Closing files accurately and on time
  • Keeping the Client status report maintained and updated
  • Solving problems effectively as they arise
  • Performing any other job-related duties assigned with dedication and care
Requirements
  • Bachelor #39;s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management
  • CITT and/or CIFFA certifications considered assets
  • Minimum 3 years #39; experience with Air Freight Importamp; Export logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience effectively managing third-party logistics providers
  • Ability to interpret complex instructions
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Effective multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Friendly, helpful attitude with a willingness to support
  • Demonstrates honesty, trustworthiness, and respect
  • Sound work ethics in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and financial awareness
