A DAY IN THE LIFEAs a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of responsibilities. Here’s what you can expect in your role:
  • Hands-On Work: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures as directed by the Site Supervisor.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly respond to and resolve plumbing and gas-related issues, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customer concerns by diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues, delivering excellent service every time.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to find solutions and keep projects on track.
  • Quality Checks: Perform routine inspections and quality control checks on plumbing systems to ensure top-notch work.
  • Compliance: Ensure all installations meet codes and regulations, coordinating inspections as needed.
  • Stay Organized: Keep your workspace and company service van clean and ready for action.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all paperwork for each job you finish.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • 4+ years of experience as a Plumber on commercial or multi-residential sites.
  • Red Seal Plumber Certification.
  • Proficiency in plumbing installations with some knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor to build good team morale.
  • Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!).
  • Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
  • Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
