Job Description

Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer, this position is responsible for performing site maintenance while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company #39;s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian #39;s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities

  • Maintains life safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency power, sprinklers, etc.
  • Performs active or preventative maintenance as directed
  • Fabricates repair parts
  • Maintains parts and equipment inventories; anticipates requirements; submits purchase order requests
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing law s, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and DDC
  • Power Engineering Certificate an asset
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
  • Standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, interruptions, major exposure to heat, cold, noise, odors, minor exposure to fumes, chemicals, dirt, dust, non-traditional work hours
