Job Description

Job DescriptionAbout the role: As Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the constituency office and for implementing and overseeing processes, procedures, and practices that support the MP #39;s office operations and information management needs. You will ensure effective service delivery, outreach, and communication activities, and work closely with team members to provide excellent service to constituents and support the MP #39;s parliamentary work.Duties and Responsibilities also include:

  • Oversee the Member’s calendar and the offices’ day-to-day operational requirements;
  • Provide direction to staff and serve as liaison between the Member and staff where necessary;
  • Manage all budgeting and financial reporting for the Member;
  • Advise the Member on policy and strategy elements of all documents relating to and in support of the Member’s effective participation in the House, including speeches;
  • Oversee Member’s communication on various Social Media platforms;
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations for Members and staff.
