Job Description

Our client is an established and highly regarded General Contractor headquartered out of Surrey BC. The company has established a stellar reputation over the 50+ years they have been operating. They take pride in operating in an ethical and relationship-oriented manner. Employees are highly valued and respected. Consequently, staff turnover is very low, and a close-knit team environment has been established and nurtured. Projects undertaken are in the institutional and commercial sectors with values ranging from $5m to $80m. These include new build schools, medical facilities, offices and large scale TIs. A Project Manager is required to lead a new build school project located in Port Moody. The Project Manager will work closely with an experienced Superintendent to ensure the project is successfully completed. Most of your time will be spent in the company head office located in Surrey. However, you will visit site regularly. We require an experienced Project Manager that has managed complex ground up construction projects here in Canada with values over $15m. You should be a proactive person that takes pride in identifying potential issues before they become problems. To be successful you must be a clear communicator who is organized, relationship oriented and can liaise effectively with clients, consultants and trade contractors. Previous exposure to Timberline or Procore software would be very useful. You will join an established and stable team with very low staff turnover and a positive team environment. You will receive a base salary of $120-150K (commensurate with experience), bonus incentive and fully covered extended benefits plan.
