Job Description

We are looking for a Property Administrator on behalf of our client, to join their dynamic property management team. Responsibilities will include AR / AP processing, rent roll review, budgeting, invoicing, and coordination with tenants. If you have a strong admin background and you’re looking to begin or continue with your experience in property admin, we’d like to speak with you!Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing monthly rent-roll and pre-authorized debit reports.
  • Supporting with accounts receivable reporting as required.
  • Collecting tenant insurance and tenant sales reports as needed.
  • Reviewing and preparing tenant notification letters, billing notices, rental applications, and security deposit applications.
  • Processing tenant chargebacks.
  • Managing account reconciliations and providing reports on tenants’ accounts.
  • Following up with any terminations, defaults or demands and keeping up to date with documentation.
  • Scheduling and dispatching maintenance or security as needed.
  • Assisting with scheduled reporting such as monthly and annual budgets, expense variances, etc.
  • Scheduling and coordinating move-ins or move-outs for tenants.
  • Providing general administrative support to the property management team.
  • Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure the accuracy of information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Previous experience in real-estate/property management is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Strong customer service orientation, a people person who likes solving problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional when engaging with suppliers, tenants, colleagues, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills to coordinate multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Flexible and energetic, likes to lend a hand to other teams as needed.
  • Strong computer skills coupled with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience working with JDE would be an asset.
