Job Description

Join our client #39;s team at a leading supplier of wood processing machinery for the Sawmill, Pulp and Paper, and Biomass/Pellet manufacturing industries. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with the following qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of wood-processing machinery
  • Strong grasp of the sales process
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to success
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Exceptional communication and networking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with CRM systems is advantageous
As a member of our client #39;s Sales Team, your duties will encompass:
  • Conducting outside sales activities, including quoting, site visits, customer follow-up, and reporting on activities
  • Participation in national and international trade shows
  • Delivering sales presentations to clients and providing technical support to customers
  • Flexibility in working hours to prioritize customer needs
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA without restrictions
  • Anticipated travel of 30-50% across North America post-COVID-19 travel restrictions
  • Potential for global travel
This full-time role, based in Surrey, BC, reports directly to the President.
