Job Description

Delivery DriverWe are looking for a pleasant, goal-oriented, customer-service-oriented person to join our team! We need a delivery driver to join our delivery team to do deliveries with their vehicle every Tuesday and alternating Saturday. More deliveries through the week are available, if interested. Our deliveries are between Georgina and Newmarket. You get paid $1.00 per km. For some long stretches, our deliveries go to the London Ontario region. For the long stretches, they use our vehicle and get paid $15/hr (negotiable).Job Requirements:

  • Successful applicants must possess a high level of energy and be exceptionally skilled in communicating with others.
  • Our company’s focus is on superior customer service.
  • Candidate must have good customer service skills, be organized, be self-directed, and have good communication skills.
  • Candidate must be comfortable driving long distances.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills are considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license is required, with a good driving record.
  • Must be able to do some lifting during shipping /receiving or delivery of medical equipment, and large/multiple boxes of medical supplies.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts in person and over the telephone.
  • Delivery experience in medical supplies or medications is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of a clean background check.
  • Comfortable driving a van.
SKILLS:
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing,
  • Handy with tools,
  • Comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly,
