Job Description

Rack Petroleum Ltd is full service supplier of fertilizer, chemical, custom application, agronomy services, research and bulk fuel to producers in west central Saskatchewan. The Rack is a vibrant, rapidly expanding company with new ventures constantly underway. Headquartered in Biggar, offices are located in Perdue, Unity, Wilkie, Luseland, North Battleford, Rosetown, Outlook, Saskatoon and Swift Current.Position SummaryUltimate Yield Summer Students are responsible to assist the Ultimate Yield Advisor in daily operations and tasks including customer management, crop scouting, tissue sampling and soil sampling. Students will be asked to work in coordination with the other members of The Rack team in a variety of situations including Ultimate Yield Research.Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1+ year of study towards diploma/bachelor degree, preferably in agriculture
  • Class 5 driver #39;s license and safe driving record
  • Can lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Farming background and/or crop scouting experience is an asset
  • Willingness to operate equipment required to run/maintain the yard/chemical shed
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
