Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $28-$38GCS is looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchaser to join our growing team in St Albert. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and is fluent in Englishamp; Spanish (preferred).Key Responsibilities:Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services in a cost-effective and timely mannerBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsTrack inventory levels and monitor supplier performancePrepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and RFQsEnsure procurement complies with company standards and budgetsCoordinate shipping, delivery, and customs documentation (as required)Identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvementExperience in ordering construction materialsQualifications:25 years of purchasing or supply chain experience (construction, industrial, or manufacturing sectors preferred) Strong communication and negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and purchasing softwareFluent in English; Spanish an assetDetail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressureValid drivers license and reliable transportation preferredWage Range:$28$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualificationsPotential for benefits, performance bonuses, and advancement opportunities
